GURUGRAM: On Sunday, Hundreds of residents of Central Park 2 start a protest march against the developer of the society. Because the residents of Central Park were denied and restricted from common community facilities, the developer also changed the layout plan without their discussion.
The residents of the society alleged that they have been restricting access to facilities, even after a decade of taking ownership of apartments.
According to the residents of Central Park, the license for the project was obtained in 2006 for 27 towers. On the other hand, the ownership of towers 1 to tower nine started in the year 2008 to 2009. The remaining towers began at the same time.
Department of Town and Country Planning
Even the residents are pointed toward the developer, the project plan in 2019, which was approved by the DTCP (department of town and country planning) in the year 2021. Without mandatory permission from the existing tower 1 to tower nine flat owners.
During the construction time, to keep in mind the safety of the residents, the developer built a giant wall that will separate the nine towers from the rest of the project on temporary measures.
They alleged; the developers had already obtained the OC (occupancy certificate) in 2014. But the builders refused to carry down the wall.
President of Bellevue Central Park 2 Association Said
President of Bellevue Central Park 2 Association, Prabhat Bharadwaj, said, “the main entrance is blocked, and due to this resident of towers 1 to 9 are not allowed inside the central premises of society. Also, they have locked the gate on the government road.
The town and country planning department has approved the revised project without compulsory consent from the residents. It seems a strong connection needs to be adequately explored,” Prabhat Bharadwaj said.
Stealing of Funds Needs To Be Investigated
On the other hand, the spokesperson for Central Park disproved the allegations and said, “The flats were delivered a decade ago with all the facilities. Even the RWA (Residents Welfare Association) has failed to maintain these facilities.
Also, it could not continue even the AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) of lifts exhaust the IBMSD fund, which was more than Rs 11 crore at the time of the handover of the apartments.
The stealing of funds needs to be investigated. The wall was built to ensure the safety of the labor and the residents due to deep boring and proceeding construction at the site.
