MCG Resolves 760 of Nearly 2,000 Complaints on Property Tax Error June 14, 2023: The government organized multiple camps across Gurgaon on June 10th and 11th to resolve property tax data errors. They received as many as 2,027 complaints through these camps, of which 1,140 were filed by citizens online, and the remaining 887 were filed via camps.

The rebate was 10 per cent earlier. The government has raised the rebate by 20 per cent. Nishant Kumar Yadav, deputy commissioner, Gurgugram, has stated that the step has been taken with the aim of providing relief to people residing in urban areas. Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister Kamal Gupta also led officials earlier in April this year to run an awareness campaign so people get aware of this initiative, and most of the public can avail of this rebate.
