This project is located near the town of Jewar in the Gautam Buddh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. The distance of Jewar Airport to IGI Airport is 80km. Jewar International Airport will be the biggest airport in India and will play an important role in enhancing the country’s aviation capacity and economic development.

Zurich Airport International AG, which won the project’s construction and operation bid, is overseeing the airport’s development. The initial phase of Jewar Airport is scheduled to be completed in December 2024, and the first flight operations are planned to commence shortly after that. 

Upon completion of all its phases, the airport is expected to have six runways, making it the largest airport in India in terms of runway capacity. The estimated cost of Jewar Airport is approximately 29,650 crore

Noida Airport is designed to serve as a primary gateway for international and domestic travel and help reduce congestion at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.

14 May, 2024: According to reports, Heinemann will maintain the duty-free shops. The international duty-free will offer several luxury brands of perfumes and fragrances, premium liquors, exquisite chocolates, confectionery, cosmetics, etc.

Change is the location of Fintech City upcoming metro in Noida

13 May 2024: As per the reports, the UP government has planned to shift the ambitious Fintech City project to Sector 11 near Noida International Airport instead of Sector 113. The change in the location of this project is due to better connectivity and proximity to the upcoming airport.
