Dwarka Expressway is the third direct connecting route between Delhi and Gurgaon, after NH-8 and Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road. The expressway will be a 16-lane access-controlled highway running between Shiv Murti in Delhi and Kherki Daula in Gurugram. The 18.9 km-section of the expressway will be in Gurugram, and the remaining 10.1 km in Delhi.
– The 29 km (16-lane) stretch of NH-8 has four multi-level interchanges and is a signal-free highway. The engineering marvel has three-lane service lanes on either side of the motorway, four multi-level interchanges, and numerou crossroad underpasses at major junctions. – The Haryana Government has planned a Mass Rapid Transit System Corridor (or metro rail) along Dwarka Expressway as part of its development plans for the Gurgaon-Manesar Urban Complex. This will commence in Dwarka and run to Manesar and Neemrana via a metro hub being built on a 162- acre tract at Kherki Daula, alongside the new Inter State Bus Terminal. – A dedicated underpass will be built through Vatika INXT2, linking NH 352W to Dwarka Expressway (NH 248BB). – This world-class corridor will have advanced Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) such as Advanced Traffic Management System, Toll Management System, CCTV Cameras, Surveillance, and so on.
