FASTEST RUNNING ANIMALS ON THE EARTH

Cheetah

The Cheetah has become the fastest land animal. It can run at 121 km/h and is considered a speed symbol. Its slim body, flexible spine, and long muscular legs help in increasing speed. 

Pronghorn Antelope 

The pronghorn antelope claims the fastest speed, clocking in at 89 km/h, outpacing most animals in North America, which facilitates oxygen circulation during long-running.

Springbok 

The springbok is a medium-sized deer with a running speed of 89 km/h. Its name comes from two African words meaning leap and buck. It can jump up to 11 feet high in the air. Its color is brown and white. 

Lion 

The lion is the king of the jungle who uses his powerful claws to quickly catch his prey. Female lions are generally faster and more agile, with a running capacity of up to 80km/h.

Wildebeest 

Wildebeest can run at a speed of up to 80 km/h. Their physical structure with strong shoulders and large heads helps them run fast. Wildebeest have evolved to cope with the challenges of long migrations
